New Meadowlands Stadium for Superbowl 2014

The outdoor Super Bowl already approved by NFL franchise owners, which will be held at New Meadowlands Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey, New York in 2014, 32 team owners just voted to play the 2014 Super Bowl in Meadowlands, This will be the first Super Bowl played in a stadium without a roof in cold weather. But some owners seem this as a “just one time maneuver” was associated with the large of New York market and the new construction of stadium for the Giants and Jets.

Unlike some other new venues of the NFL, the New Meadowlands Stadium has no roof. The proposal to equip this stadium with a roof failure due to disputes about funding issues. However, it can only be potential for the United States to held the FIFA World Cup events, in 2018 or 2022, assuming that New Meadowlands Stadium is wide enough to meet FIFA standards.
